Portland, OR - December 17th, 2010

Dave Osborne has been promoted to Director of the Alpha Interactive Department, overseeing the websites and digital initiatives of the six station cluster.  The appointment, announced today by Alpha President/COO Bob Proffitt, is effective immediately.

Osborne joined Alpha in April of 2010 as the Online Program Director of the talk stations, KXL-AM, KXTG-FM/95.5 The Game and KXFD-AM/Freedom 970.  Prior to that, he spent 14 years as a webmaster at the Portland Clear Channel stations, also involved with the New York and Los Angeles markets.  He also worked on digital projects on a contract basis between his employment at Clear Channel prior to joining Alpha.  As head of the Interactive Department, his oversight will include the Alpha music stations, KINK, KUFO and KUPL.

"This opportunity to work at Alpha Broadcasting is beyond exhilarating to me," commented Osborne.  "I have felt like part of a family from the minute I walked through the door; a feeling that too many radio people have lost.  The atmosphere is exciting and the people are amazing.  I’m grateful to work with people like Bob Proffitt, Scott Mahalick, Brian Jennings and Larry Wilson and I’m humbled by the opportunity they’ve given me to take Alpha Interactive to the next level."

Alpha Broadcasting owns and operates KUPL, KINK, KUFO, KXTG, KXL-AM and KXFD-AM.   Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, Alpha was formed by Larry Wilson, Bob Proffitt and Endeavour Capital, also in Portland.  Wilson founded Citadel Communications Corporation, before it was sold to Forstmann Little & Company in 2001.
